Description du poste On behalf of DUZGIT GEMI INSA SANAYI A.S. (as agents only for and on behalf of owners), (Maslak Mah., Eski Büyükdere Cad., Park Plaza No: 14 Kat: 11, 34467 Sariyer / Istanbul, TURKEY), Desgagnés is recruiting three (3) Able Seamen on the M/T Duzgit Endeavour (under Turkish flag) trading in the Great Lakes and Eastern Canada. These positions will start in August 2018 for about temporary four (4) months.

The able seaman executes the helm orders of a pilot, captain or officer of the watch. He also assists the latter to ensure smooth and secure transhipment operations when the vessel is at the terminal.
Compétences requises • Bridge Watch Rating Certificate of Competency or higher (STCW)

• Certificate of Competency in Basic Training for Oil Tanker Cargo Operations (STCW)

• Valid Marine Medical Certificate

• Certificate of Competency in Marine Emergency Duties (STCW)

• Marine Basic First Aid certificate

• One (1) year of experience as Able seaman on oil/chemical tanker vessels

All applicants must have previous relevant experience on oil and chemical tankers and hold all appropriate STCW certificates recognized by the flag authority for the respective position as outlined above.
Conditions particulières The hourly rate is $26.87 for the first 40 hours/week and $40.31 thereafter. Min. 8h/day, 7

days/week, vessel operating 24 hours/day). Insurance coverage in accordance with the

Maritime Labor Convention 2006 (Articles 2.5 and 4.2).
